National Geographic Channel – at Sky TV London



James was contracted to work closely with the Marketing Director on all planning and implementation for the channels European roll-out. He consulted on the channel’s first website and tele-text site.

James organised and implemented the channels first qualitative and quantitative Research, merchandising and materials, and marketing budgeting templates and management. Targeting, co-ordinating and managing relationships with a range of suppliers and recommending and implementing new systems as agreed with board. Detailed planning, scheduling, implementation monitoring and reporting in a multi-faceted environment.

The Result? – Important new systems installed into the business – and the channel successfully rolled out into forty new countries, increasing their audience by more than 20 million viewers, with appropriate branding and marketing systems installed.
